Sara and Mary turn 7!!!

Sara and Mary turned 7 this week! They had such a fun party! We went to Hand Painted on Main. The kids all got to pick a piece of pottery to paint.Sam picked a flower. Happy Birthday Sara and Mary:)

Apple Holler!

We went apple picking at Apple Holler with all the cousins today! The weather was fantastic! The kids even got to ride the horses! I picked up some of my favorite apple cider!! MMM!!

So Sam loves to help mommy! This is what happened when I asked her to give Nathan "a toy" when he was fussing in his car seat!! What a great big sis!

Roller Skates!

Sam got roller skates from Grammie and Grandpa for her birthday! She got to try them out today! I think it's going to take a while, but she sure did have fun! Mommy and Daddy put on her elbow pads, knee pads and gloves but we FORGOT her helmet!!!! Good thing she did such a good job!

Lincoln Park Zoo

We took Sam to the Lincoln Park Zoo today for a birthday treat! It was such a beautiful day! What a fun family day!

Sam's 3rd b-day party!!

Sam had a Tinkerbell party today! All the girls wore fairy wings with wands and the boys wore pirate hats! Grammie made a Tinkebell cake and mommy made some green and purple cupcakes that were yummy! Thanks for coming everyone!

Sam is 3!!!

Sam had such a fun birthday today! She started out opening one of her presents from mommy and daddy. She got a swim to me puppy. She saw it on tv and has been asking if she'll get one for her birthday. Then grammie and grandpa took her to the Fall Fest in Cary. There was a hayride,petting zoo, pony rides and crafts! What fun! That night mommy and daddy took her to Colonial for icecream! They even sang happy birthday to her!

Sam's birthday surprise!!

So I got the cutest idea from the Karavouzis family (thanks guys). On the night before Sam's birthday we filled her room up with balloons so when she woke up on her birthday she had a room full of balloons!! She got a kick out of it! She asked us "did you put the balloons in the room when I was sleeping, did you hit them in the air too?" We want to do this every year for her! Jamie said that Uncle Rick and Aunt Mer did it for her when she was a little girl! I love traditions like this!

We went to visit Julie, Steve and baby Colin today! He is only 1 week old! such a cutie. I thought from pictures that he looked like Steve, but seeing him I think he looks like Julie=) And when you look at her their blog (I have a link on mine) I think he looks more like Julie's baby picture!! After going to see him I told Dan "we will be having another" his response was "uh, no!!!!"

Chloe Knebl!!

Grandpa and Grammie finally got a new puppy!! Her name is Chloe! She is a golden doodle, part golden part poodle! She is such a little cutie! She is great with the kids and they can't get enough of her!
